Issues

Our current Secretary of State isn’t delivering on Fast Lane. DMV waits hit 30 minutes in DuPage and Lake Counties. Rural areas like Macon and Jackson are neglected, with no nearby facilities. Kiosks exist in just 15 spots, mostly urban, leaving most of Illinois behind. And voter records on 1980s systems risk hacks. We need better; we deserve better.
My plan delivers:
First, faster services: I’ll bring self-service kiosks to all areas not just 15 locations—but across Illinois’s 102 counties, in libraries, grocery stores, and community centers, for quick renewals in minutes. As a union steward in Local 15, the focus is to create jobs—maintenance roles for workers, not layoffs. Second, fairer access: mobile DMV units will reach downstate, from Cairo to Rockford, hiring staff to serve you and all Illinoisans.
Third, modernize with innovative technology for all: a unified online portal will streamline services, maintaining cyber security keeping your data safe while focusing on smart rules of the roads to keep our families safe.

Why I’m Running

I believe in hard work, practical leadership, and servant-minded governance. Currently Kiosks exist in just 15 spots, mostly urban, leaving most of Illinois behind.  My plan will speed up the Fast Lane service and update the 1980s systems risk hacks. We need better.  Everyone deserves better!
